What rifle to buy?

Looking to get a 25-06 but i shoot lefty so im limited to what brand rifle to buy. Willing to invest up to 1500 for gun and scope. Im torn between the tikka t3 hunter and the browning x bolt. To me the tikka seems to be the more accurate for the price from what ive read but the browning is down right beautiful. Any opinions on which rifle(good or bad) or if anyone knows any other bolt actions that come in wood for leftys? I want something super accurate without the recoil that i can shoot all day and will also drop a deer. Up to now my only rifle has been a marlin 30-30 which i love. Just want something to reach out a lot further. Thanks for reading and i welcome all comments.

The Tikka is not only more accurate but has a smoother action and a better trigger.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. :)

my first choice was a remington but very limited in caliber for left hand. as for a savage i kinda have a sour taste for the name brand. never owned a savage personally but always had it in my mind as a "cheap" gun. dont want to offend anyone but dont think id like a savage.

FWIW Just another suggestion to consider.
Sig Sauer 202 Supreme. Around 1000.00 for the rifle in one caliber when I bought mine. The 202 I have I purchased in 270 Win. Then shortly after I purchased two accessory drop-in barrels 25-06 & 30-06 from Sig. Extra barrels 400.00 ea. Like owning three different caliber rifles all identical models. Topped mine with a Leupold VX-3. Bolt throw is as smooth or better than either Sako or Tikka. Shoots good. Only problem. Its almost to pretty to take afield. It does come in Left hand also.

The .25-06 is a great cartridge that will serve you well for deer hunting and be low on recoil. I'm a lefty as well but I learned to shoot right handed rifles at a young age and it made my life much easier when it came to shopping for rifles. But if you must have a lefty rifle, I recommend either a Savage 111 or the Tikka T3. The higher end Brownings are pretty rifles, but every one I've ever been around was a mediocre shooter when you consider the cost. Just my personal experience.

I never realized how few left handed rifles are chambered in .25-06

Tikas are very nice rifles,I would take the Browning X-Bolt before the Tika though. And I would take a Savage before any of them. Savage will be the most Accurate of them all.

You are left-handed and if you are also left-eye dominant you should probably go for a left-handed rifle. Most brands have very limited cartridge choices for their left-handed bolt action rifles. Most are available in .270 Win, a virtually perfect deer hunting cartridge very similar to a .25-06 but a little more versatile. I have no experience with either of the models you are considering but I do have two Browning A-Bolt LH Stainless Stalker rifles, a 7mm Rem Mag and a .300 Win Mag. They are excellent rifles and my impression is the Tikka is also an excellent rifle.

Both of those rifles are fine choices and given the choice I would go with the Browning. Do you want a left handed bolt or are you comfortable with a right handed one?
However, if you're comfortable with a right handed bolt, may throw you a curve ball and suggest a Winchester 70 w/ some Leupold glass on it? I am a big Winchester/Browning fan and own a 50's production 70 in 30-06. My friend Phil has a new 70 in .270. My rifle will do 1.25" groups @ 100 yds and his Featherweight 70 got 1/2" groups consistently :) Winchester's new 70's come free floated with a great piece of wood on them and you can get a 70 for around $800 which leaves a good amount in your wallet for a quality piece of glass!
My 2 cents, but I don't think you will go wrong no matter what rifle you decide on.
