What material options are there for the revolvers? All that's on their page is Scandium and stainless steel, but I keep hearing about a titanium model.

Everyone keeps saying how brutal titanium is, but I want to see all my options and choose for myself.

When it comes to a wheel gun...its got to be stainless...
My S&W 681 has seen alot of rainy weather out in the woods and
still looks brand new.I also like the heft of it on my hip, very Freudian I guess! ;)

Skunkabilly,
The S&W titanium models can be found on the S&W website if you choose .38+P as your caliber. The titanium guns won't handle .357 as the scandium guns will. The lightest titanium gun they make weighs 10.7 oz. (ouch) and the scandium guns come in at 12 oz. Hope this helps. Mike

Skunkabilly!

I recently purchased a S & W 386 TiScan in 357/38. It is a 7-shot revolver with a 3" barrel and weighs in "dry" at about 18oz. The recoil for 38 special and +P ammo is moderate. 357 ammo produces stiff recoil but IMHO it is not as fierce as many here at TFL aver. It is an excellent concealed carry gun and I recommend it highly. Good shooting:)

Wow, that blows my mind. People actually shoot full house .357 magnums in a 12 ounce revolver without damaging their wrists?

Even my 25-ounce SP 101 hurts with full .357 magnum loads. I find that I need at least 36 ounces to find full power .357 magnum loads comfortable.
