Shotgun News is the one magazine (or publication)
I find really useful. They sell stuff, but leave
decisions (what to buy) to me. In regard to tests, I like to do my own. I do use information that magazines provide, but will never trust their recommendations 100%. For example, I got interested in HK USP after reading those magazines (....best of the best of the best and stuff like that...), however, when I tried this marvel of modern engineering, I didn't like it at all, although gun magazine
did...On the other hand, I also remember reading some good stuff about CZs, and after I handled one, I was extremely impressed, much more than after just reading about it.
So I bought it, of course.
