what length for trap??

i had a Bennelli once upon a time i used for 3 gun and i seem to remember that the barrels were expensive maybe over 300 or so. if trap is more than just a passing fantasy to you go ahead and buy the longest barrel around. i do remember shooting a round or two with the short barreled one i had and it broke targets ok. if your Bennelli kicks like mine did i think rather than spending a bunch of bucks for a barrel-i think i'd just buy a used long barrel automatic like rem 1100-then you've got another gun to play with...Dick
 
Bbls I'm using range from 30" on my trap 870TB to 21" on Frankenstein, my homemade parts gun.

Getting a longer bbl may possibly help you score a bit higher, but busting clays with your present shotgun oughta be plenty of fun. Try shooting it as is for a season, then decide if you want/need a longer bbl.
