What kind of paint do they use on BHP MkIII?

Mine is GREAT. No oiling needed. No rust. No fingerprints. After 5 years starting to get glossy from wear but still hanging in there.
Seems it would be good for other autos.
 
There's an FN Hi Power site out there which may have the info you want. I can't remember the URL at this point.
 
A gentleman that BSes me very little and seems to have quite a bit of knowledge once told me that it is first parkerized and then covered with a laquer coating.
