I just wanted to see what types of guns you carry for your primary and BUG. If you have a reason for your selection please post why.

Primary is a Glock 36 .45 acp, or Kimber 1911 .45 acp - Because I like the big holes that they make.
Secondary is a Keltec .380, sometimes a CZ82 .9mm Mak.... - Better than throwing rocks.

Primaries: Sig Sauer P220 Compact, Taurus PT-145, Sig Sauer P239/357Sig
BUG: NAA 380 - That's my Sunday-go-to-Meetin' piece.

Either one of these 4 semi-autos depending on mood/dress....no BUG.

HK P2000SK, Ruger LCP, Glock 19, S&W 1911PD Commander

I guess in reality the Kel-Tec is my primary as it is with me all the time. However when I am not at work the Colt is my primary/nightstand gun with the P3at in my pocket. With spring and summer coming up my primary will most often be a S&W SW99ol.

If I can't get the job done with 5 rounds of 44 Special in the gun and 10 rounds in speed loaders, then it is either to late or I deserve to get shot.

There is one case where I do have a BUG, that is when I ride my quad. I carry my Ruger Redhawk 7 1/2" in 41 Magnum in a tank bag holster, so my Charter Arms Bulldog "PUG" becomes my BUG.

My main handgun is my Glock 19, no bug. When traveling, I bring the Glock, and my Bersa .380 CC. I just don't feel the need for a back up while off duty. On duty, I'm only armed when transporting prisoners which is rare, so again, no back up, since I'm not assigned as regular transport. More power to anyone who legally carries more than one.

My primary CCW is a Glock 36 .45acp. I also occassionally carry a Taurus 651 .357 instead of the 36. I am looking to add a Ruger Sp101 3" for carry in the near future.

I tend to like revolvers better for carry, but I am just a better shot with my Glock 36 than my snubbie .357. Since they are about the same size and weight, I tend to carry the Glock more, and it has a larger capacity. I have a feeling when I add the Sp101, it will be my main carry gun.

Springfield XD-40 occasional primary, Taurus PT140 BUG/everyday primary. I only carry two on special occasions, like weekends and holidays. Both are semiauto, .40 caliber.

In Virginia you CCW permit covers only one gun on a person. My regular carry gun revolves between an semi auto and a revolver
