I put a Butler Creek folder on my 500. Works and fits well. You will want to add some padding if you plan on using it a lot. You should have seen the looks I got on the skeet field with mine. I have a side saddle and the Mossberg ghost ring barrel/sight package on it also. Still hit 19.
