what kind of accuracy can i expect from a savage 260 rem tactical

I have put a savage tactical left hand 260 remington on layaway, I have a decient 16x scope to mount on it, and I was wondering what kind of accuracy I could expect from it?
Different people have said everything from bug hole groups to 1.5 inch.

AS the owner of three Savage rifles (.22 Mag, .223 Rem, 7mm Rem Mag), I'd estimate the rifle will hit anything you're good enough to aim it at. I own several different brands and the Savages will match or beat anything else I've got.
