To borrow the theme from Dave, here is mine.

The Xtrema is a great waterfowl gun.

I have the Plain Jane Beretta 390. It has been a fantastic gun for me the past 3.5 years, even have gotten a couple 25 straights in skeet with it. I'm treating it to a duck/goose combo in Texas this year.

With my DIY camo job.

It would have to be the 870.

But I've refused to hunt duck since that horrid lead shot ban came into effect.

edited to put in a much better pic.

Browning BPS: a mite heavy for typical upland shooting chores but perfect for a waterfowl "blind" gun, where the extra weight is not a factor in toting it all day but is a plus when shooting heavy duck/goose loads.

I was using an 1187 Supermag for the past 7 years or so but a sale got the best of me and I'll be using a Browning Maxus this year.

Duck Guns

I shot a Winchester Super X model 1 that I bought as a 16 year old and shot for 20 some years with only one or two glitches from wear (lots of shells as it was also my trap gun). Then I convinced myself I needed a 3" gun and bought an 11-87sps that I shot for almost another 20 years, and never had any real issues with it, except the top of the piston wore through. Gunsmith told me it wouldn't affect anything unless it starts to crack further, and its still in place, although I bought a replacement to have at the ready. It's a fairly heavy gun, and I've retired it to trap practice on occasion, and still use it with a slug barrel for deer. I bought an M2 Benelli about three years ago as it was on sale for about 300 bucks cheaper than the SBE, and I don't mess with 3.5" shells anyway. We've broken half inch or better ice during the late duck season and all three guns over the years have been wet and frozen during the hunt, but never froze up or failed to shoot, unlike my Haydell's duck call which seems to freeze at temperatures below 50 degrees...... Figure that one out!!!!
