My preferred brand, as opposed to what I conceal is HK. Voted for Glock, however, because that is what I carry.

Chose the G27 because I feel it is more size efficient than the HK for CCW and has the double recoil springs, which I prefer.

Now that I think of it, I should have voted HK. Oh well, scratch one up for the dark side...

I voted for the Glock 27. Highly accurate from
a small package.

Lot's of good choices, but I had to go with the Glock. The BHP, H&K and CZ 40's that I've shot were all great for the range, but not as good as the Glock (for me) for all-around use - carry, etc.
I used to have one of the first S&W .40's to hit the market, I didn't like it at all but I may have had a lemon.

Glock 22 with night sights and high cap mags make a good defensive weapon, you could do far worst if you are going in harms way. The Glock is rust proof, reliable, rugged and light weight and holds lot of big bullets (16)...

My favorite .40 is a CZ 75B. Since I also own the 9mm version, no matter which one I'm shooting, the grip/feel is the same. The CZ 75B handles the .40 snap better than my CZ 40B. Accuracy in both is about the same with a small advantage going to the CZ 75B, however, the CZ 50B prefers the lighter bullets, say the 155s and 165s.
