What is your favorite 22 revolver

I just recently got a S&W 35, J frame with a 6" barrel and target sights. Very accurate and has a great trigger.

These were at one time called the 1953 22/32 target.

Looks a nice revo Peter ... and the soot marks show it is popular for use!! :)

Nice targets too ... you are for sure younger than me and way steadier for bullseye stuff .. I am way past that standard now but was there once.

My two faves are first the Pre K-22 and then the single action friend, the Single Six. The Smith is capable of way better shooting than me now!!

I like the I/J-frame Smiths. Yeah, I know that there are plenty of rimfire wheelies that can shoot rings around a Kit Gun, but they're just so handy and... well... cute.

Plus, my 2" Model 34 round-butt makes such a good "understudy" for my CCW J-frames. :)

My first wheelgun was a H&R 922 that I bought close to 30 years ago for all of $75. Still have it and it shoots just as well as my Ruger Single Six.

My personal favorite of the more than a few I own would be my 6" 10 shot S&W 617. It is very accurate and has a super slick trigger/action. I would say for now that it would be the last or close to last revolver I would part with, if I had no other choice.

I have a Model 18 built in 1973 that outshoots any .22 I've owned. Also there's my single six that I like. But the 18 is in another class. I've had several 17's and always ended up trading them away. I guess I just prefer 4" K-frames.

S&W Model 18 to go with the Model 19. Both 4 inchers. They were gifts from my Dad when I turned 19 years old.

RIKA :)

A S&W K-22, 6" manufactured in 1952. It isn't as pretty as some of the newer guns, looks like it has been holster worn & used in the field (It has); but it keeps putting the holes side by side and has an action that is as good as could be asked for...

My model 18 is nice, but it isn't close to the K-22 in accuracy...

I got a Taurus 94 snub as a trainer for my Sp101. Since its my only .22 Revolver I'd have to say its my favorite. However it is a straight shooter and I even put a pair of CT grips on it i like it so much.

Another vote for the Smith M18.
I found out that mine appreciates Wolf Match Target ammo recently and shot some fine groups offhand with it.
It's time to take it out again.
