Depends on what pistol I end up carrying that particular day due to wardrobe choice. Either 9mm or a .45 are my current choices with a definite leaning towards the 45, so that's what I voted for. It will more than likely turn into my ONLY carry caliber once I pick up my G30 next week!! :D

I'm shocked you left off the great .357 Sig round (tho' it's a moot point for me now that I carry the BHP in .40).

In the not so historic past, it would have been 40S&W. Although I am still a great fan of the round, I have been carrying 45ACP more often. The main reason is because the pistol I have chambered in it is the perfect size for my current needs and I have the perfect holster setup for it.

Attention Moderator!! - .357 Sig is missing from this poll!

Erich,

You are right! Agencies now issue pistols chambered for this round.

If our Moderator sees this message before anyone votes for the .38 Super, please replace the .38 Super with the .357 Sig!

Thanks,

40sw it's the only caliber I own.I don't like to fumble around with various mags of different calibers.G27 is my carry, about 95% of the time.SAFE-SHOOTING!

was 45acp....now 9x18 makarov

I have gotten in the habit for the past couple months of carrying my Makarov.

As such my paraordnance P12 has been furlowed 80% of time.

Very interesting results.

I'm somewhat suprised that no one has chosen the .22 LR and the .380 ACP so far. Many semi-autos in these calibers have been produced.

My guess is, that because TFL is an "enthusiast's site", the posters who are here, see better options (than these two calibers) in similarly-sized packages.

Thanks everyone, for voting.
