I think it's wheellock, and you need to trim your toenails.
Much better pictures are needed to tell if it's a Pier 1 Imports wall decoration or a real Antiques Roadshow find.

Appears to be a flintlock of some sort.

Best bet is to look for manufacturer markings on the metalwork. Clearer photos might help, but try to ID any marks.

Well, judging by the stock form and lock plate, I'm going to hazard a guess that your Grandpa may have served in North Africa during World War II or just after and brought it back as a souvenir...

An old Arabian wheel lock rifle. Could have come from North Africa, the Middle East, India and/or some parts of Asia. An expert needs to see that rifle to determine if it is rare or not.

Sasquatch feets are much more furry. Even hobbits have more feet fur!

Appears to be a wheel lock, but a CLEAR picture would allow a definate answer.

It is in the style of a jezzail. Could be real, or could be decorator item. Can't even begin to tell from here.

It is a flintlock muzzle loader of one sort or another. Better pictures of the metal work and any makers marks will help tremendously. Also if you list your location on your name tag we could suggest places to have it looked at by an expert.:)

Hey, i just took it to a gun expert and found out it was a Turkish decoration piece. That sucks! Thanks for the help though guys.

It seems to be a jezzail as the stock pattern and lock pattern match the style of jezzails I would take better pictures if possible as it may help people here identify it better or take it to a collector of some sorts.

Glad u identified it. Are you sure? Pictures worth the trouble of asking people to take the time to speculate would be nice. Snaphaunce I woulda said (which doesn't mean it isn't a Jezzail snaphaunce).

Nice catch on the foot folks! Dude, what ARE you!?
