.45 Colt Uberti Cattleman would be my guess. It's missing the bushing.

It is Italian, as shown by the proof mark.

The cylinder notches look too far forward to be from an accurate Colt copy. EMF Remington 1875 copy, maybe?

it ALMOST looks like a pietta cylinder. i was looking at that cylinder proof mark and on my revolver and the stars look the same but i hasnt a clue
