What is the verdict on the S&W 317

I was in the gun shop the other day and they had a S&W model 317 2". This is the second I have personally handled. The first one had a horrendous trigger pull, this one wasn't too bad.

I like the gun, really for just a fun plinker that can be carried without too much bother, but am wondering if it is worth it. I have heard all the horror stories about bad trigger pulls and sticky cylinder chambers that won't eject fired brass and other maladys.

Heres my question, is this gun any good? Whats your opinion.

I loved the little 317, sticky cases sometimes, especially the dirtier it got. Fairly accurate, fun little gun. You could put 200-300rnds through it in an afternoon, and it helped with transitioning to the .38s. Good luck.
