What is a BUL M5 ?

When I discover a musical group that I want to buy more of, I discover the group has broken up years ago and no longer publishing.

Is this to be my fate with my discovery of the Israeli made 1911-style .45 BUL M5? I see no US distributors, nor a hint of cost.

The same polymer frame is advertised to accept uppers of various calibers

Bul M5

The Bul M5 were up until recently still somewhat available here in the US, but they are all now out of the distribution channel. As far as I can tell they haven't actually been imported for some time now.

The good news is that EAA has picked up the ball on importing these babies into the USA. They have been advertising them on their website for about 4 months now. I spoke with an EAA rep to ask them as to when they will actually be available and they are now saying November. Check out EAA's website at http://www.eaacorp.com.
