I have seen most of the line guns sold in the past 30 or more years, this sure does not look like any of them -- they have similar looking canisters under the barrel for the line.

I suspect it is some kind of gas gernade / bean bag launcher.

Old technology- it's a cup type gas grenade launcher. They were pretty common in US LEAs in the 1960s...

In the Navy, on an oiler during unreps. Not like any line launcher that I have ever seen. They use a 410 singleshot similar to an H&R.
