what I think of the Grand power mk12 9mm

ok first off I got this gun because I wonted something different. It has a rotation barrel and not the Browning lock up. It is hammer fired sa/da polymer lower. It is just about the same size as my CZ D compact but lighter. Holder 12+1. I have put 700 ish rounds through it.

Well good things first. It feels good in my hand and has a good balance to it. I think it looks better than the Bretta nano. I can shoot it well. I feel it is acceptable as far as how accurate it is (hitting in a small soop can with the bottom facing me at 15ish yards) recoil is ok not bad a bit more than my CZ but it's a lighter gun so as to be expected. It is fun to shoot.

The bad stuff. Cost way too much should have been in the 300 to 400ish $ range. When slide is all the way back barrel wiggle a lot. I don't think this is a messed up gun it just seems that is how the groove that routes on the bare is made. The mag radales and you have to 2x check that the mag is all the way in. It can feel like it is in but it's not.

Reiablty , not so much I have only shot Winchester white box and Blazer aluminum out of it. The Blazer I got a good menny light primer strikes the white box I did not have the problem. I had a good menny stove pipe problems and failure to feed. I can not see any defect in the gun that would cause this. I am going to try a +p or 124g to see if this will help.

My conclusion is this is a fun and different range gun. Not a carry gun at all. If you can get one cheep and are looking for someone a bit different buy it.
