I have been contacting my government reps every day for about 3 months now, via phone, fax, and/or e-mail. My question is, what happens to it?
My guess is that interns tabulate the amount of pro-this and anti-that and then report to the rep, who issues generic replies. Is this about right? Which means of communication best gets their attention?

"If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with Army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of constitutional privilege." Wilson vs. State, Ark. 1878
