What happens when I contact my Reps?

I have been contacting my government reps every day for about 3 months now, via phone, fax, and/or e-mail. My question is, what happens to it?

My guess is that interns tabulate the amount of pro-this and anti-that and then report to the rep, who issues generic replies. Is this about right? Which means of communication best gets their attention?

wolf...
You're pretty much right about what happens, i.e tabulating. Then again, if your Rep is on the opposite side of the political fence as yourself...after 3 months you might be labeled as a crank (like me :)) and your stuff is tossed.

Handwritten/signed snail mail gets the most attention.
