What happened to the Valor?

I was just on their website and the Valor no longer seems to be offered except as a custom item.
Why would they discontinue their flagship model? :confused:
 
Wow! That is disappointing. A blue Valor was on my short list. I wonder if they will make a blued pointman? Yes, I understand the material is wrong. The duty treat CCO, Valor and Specialist are what made Dan Wesson great to me. It is hard to see the Valor go.
 
I'm guessing that the Valor will reappear later down the road. I think a lot of folks who are buying Dan Wessons are opting for other models like the Heritage or Pointman models. All DWs are made with the same quality of parts and fitting. An A2 is fit just the same as the Valor. The Valor does have a bit better finish, especially the Duty Treatment but I speculate a lot of buyers were opting for the brushed stainless finish which puts the Valor near the same price as the Pointman.
