What happened to Dan Wesson???

I've been toying with the idea of getting a Dan Wesson revolver.

I've recently learned that they were bought by CZ, probably for the 1911 line that DW has.

Does anyone know if they have any plans of producing revolvers again?

Not sure about DW still making revolvers, but there are plenty of good used ones for sale. Check gunbroker.com

I have a .357 DW and it's a great gun. I almost bought a DW 1911 but went with S&W at the last second. DW sure makes a good looking 1911, though.

dan wesson revolvers

I own a 15-2 monson pistol pack. You can find used dan wesson's on online gun auctions, such as auction arms, gun broker, and go america.

On the cz firearm's forum it stated revolvers would come out sometime.
I hope they do i like the design and want to get a barrel i can mount a scope to.

The CZ folks know how to manufacture high quality and accurate revolvers. They are still picking and choosing over what to market in North America. They have some excellent 32s and 357 Magnum target models in their CZ line-up. Dan Wesson has some great 41 Magnum models. That is a limited market though. The Li'l Dan is a possibility for a stainless steel CCW offering. The pistol pack 357 Magnums, 41 and 44 Magnums as well as 454 Casull small and large frame offerings are possible. The aftermarket is one limitation. Holsters, grips, sights, springsets and DW aware gunsmiths need to be trained, created and marketed. CZ is a staid and slow to move corporation. Give them time, they haven't done much with their 1911 purchase, yet. Marketing first.

What happened to Dan Wesson?

Now that Dan Wesson is owned by a foreign company, how do you go about buying parts: Barrels, Dan Wesson Tools, etc?
