What features make a DA/SA good for C&L?

I hear people talking about carrying DA/SA pistols using the cocked and locked method. Particularly, the CZ 75. I was wondering what features make a particular DA/SA gun suitable for C&L carry?

There are very few da/sa guns that allow c&l carry. The ones that do have the safety on the frame as opposed to the slide, and the safety merely locks the hammer rather than de-cocking it.

When I carry my USP it's in Condition 1. The safety is frame-mounted and also serves as a de-cocker.

horizintal position = safety off.

'up' position = safety on (just like a 1911)

but if you push the lever down past horizintal through a largish arc it'll decock the pistol before returning to the horizontal position under spring pressure.

I dig it. :)
