What exactly does "minor fitting required" mean?

I'm considering buying an ejector rod for my Blackhawk. I've noticed in the Brownell catalog, the sizes are slightly different. One is 3.8" and the other is 4.0". In fine print it states: "minor fitting required". What does that mean? Cutting, sanding, grinding or live with the stock part and avoid any headaches?

The stock rod is fine. However, the aftermarket rods have a larger round button. It's concaved in shape and makes the shell ejection process smoother and quicker.

Minor fitting could mean everything you listed. You won't know till you get the part and see what's necessary to get it to fit.
