I got to thinking and adding up what all I have spent JUST on guns, and it comes out to an AVERAGE of $200 per month on guns!! I bought my very first gun just a tad over 1 year ago. So..lets here what YOU spend on average per month? Do I need help, yet? ;)

Nathan...

Not enough to please the shooters I supply, but way too much according to their mothers and mine! My aim is not to please, but to enjoy!

Not near enough, considering the last gun I bought was for Darthmaum back in December. :(

I'd better get crackin' while the purveyors of Goodthink are still pipdreamin' instead of makin' good on their wishes!

I went without for a long time (about 10 years). Over the last three years, starting with my Sig P239, I have averaged (reaches for the calculator) about $85 per month. That doesn't include extra magazines, slings, carry cases, holsters, or ammo, but it does include the scope and bipod on my tactical rig.

Now that I think about it, I've done VERY well for the ~$3000 that I've spent! :D :D :D

I have averaged, over the past year, one gun a month (See I'm a liberal! :) ). Add ammo, misc stuff, I'm in EASY for $1000 a month.

I just ran a quick report at accounting and I have averaged $482.61 per month for the last eleven months. Not bad really, I should increase the budget ;).

WoW! It looks like LevelHead REALLY needs help with his gun addiction ($1000 per month!?!?) I guess I have just caught my addiction early on.....Now to have the willpower to do something about it...ahhhh
Nahhh! Having too much fun. Researching the purchase is more fun than the actual purchase to me. :)

Nathan..

BTW- This average is strictly for guns, it does not include ammo, cleaning supplies, range fees, reloading supplies, etc) Truth be told, I spend an easy $300 per month on everything related to gun ownership. Yikes!

or every other month plus all the goodies :)
I have got to stop this obsession,I will soon be getting visitors . Where can I seek help  I thought my gun dealer was there to help

According to my wife (she's the accountant) I have spent average of $120 per month when averaged in past 24 months on guns only. On gun accessories such as holsters, ammo, powder, primers, etc I have spent average of $175 per month over last 24 months but in last 12 months most of that was covered by prize money I've won in competitions. I guess I'm lucky because my wife dosn't mind what I spend on my hobbies (shooting and fishing) as long as I don't go crazy.

4 guns in last 9 months totalling $1800. Average of about $200/month excluding ammo, accesories and range fees.

Zero .. Just ammunition

Now selling some of my guns. I decided to keep two Glocks, Carbon 15, SL-8 and Remington 870. That about covers what I do with guns. Just sold a rifle and pistol. Still have a target 22 that I am thinking of selling. I do have a Bushmaster AR15 lower that might get a nice upper at some future date and I'm not claiming to be totally beyond falling for a gun in the future .. maybe a nice bolt action bench rest rifle.

I think that I will need to put some money into reloading equipment.
