Here’s a fascinating little side note for all you politico’s keeping score.
This info comes to me from a fellow squadron mate and MD-88 F/O (First Officer) for Delta Airlines.
The Airline had added 12 new flights into its Dallas Hub and 4 daily non-stop flights from Atlanta to Austin and 6 daily non-stop flights from Cincinnati to Austin. This schedule addendum will be effective until Nov 9th 2000.
Also noted American and United are moving with similar schedule additions as well.
No new service additions have been added into or out of Nashville, Memphis or any other TN city. Nor have there been any additional flights into or out of Miami/South FLA. Where Al Snore will be election eve. Service has picked up somewhat into and out of Washington DC, but Mike, my friend was told by a Senior Captain, that this [influx into D.C.] happens every election.
What do ya make of this?
