What did I do now

I got my S&W 60-15 home yesterday, and today I decided to disassemble it completely for cleaning and lube. I had a time getting the pawl installed with the spring in the right position. Now that it's all back together, something isn't right. When I try to cock the hammer in single action mode, it doesn't want to cock, I have to let it up a little and pull it back down to get it to cock. I've watched the action with the side plate off and everything looks right. I've never had a DA smith give me as much trouble as this one has today. Any thoughts?

Without a picture, I would say that it probably isn't assembled correctly.

I used this to remove the IL lock from my Model 60. Maybe it has enough information that you can trouble shoot reassembly...

Thanks for the links jglsprings, I went back in it and I saw that the mainspring wasn't fully seated, I corrected that and it's running like it should. I learned something new.
