What color holster rig with stainless

What color (black or brown) holster rig looks best with stainless New Vaquero and black checkered grips?

I am looking at a Triple K Laramie or Cheyenne holster with a Wyoming belt in 45 colt.

I have a problem with wishing I had made a different decision right after I buy something, so any help on this is appreciated.

I am just looking for opinions.

Either, but a poor finish on black shows like a bad black car. .
I have the standard wood grips but am trying to decide , on modern mother of pearl,or perhaps stag would go better with the chestnut colored rig.
Everyone post some photos of yours. Help us decide.

I always thought black with white metal looked good but hey, I'm no fashion consultant.

How would the black last with hard use? Will it get scratched up and look bad?

With hard use anything will get scuffed up and I think brown wears it better than black.

As an old holster maker,,,
I like it when the grips match the leather.

So, black leather in your case.

Use black shoe wax on the leather to repair scuffs.

I prefer the (quality) black leather with a stainless gun. I think brown diminishes the look.
