R rattletrap1970 New member Nov 1, 2010 #4 Definitely too much lube. It gets pushed down the casing until it's in a larger droplet and because a fluid doesn't compress it actually dents the case. Notice how the shape of the dents resembles an elongated bubble or droplet?
