hi everybody, i'm new to the forum, but i've been lurking and reading for a while......i've been cruising the gun auction site and found a very rare rifle, a Remington 720 chambered in 30-06......does anyone know anything about these?....how do they shoot?......i figured an old Remington as rare as this one would go for much more than the bidding is on it so i'm thinking about trying to buy it, only because i remember years ago my grandpa had one.....but how do they shoot?......what twist rate is the barrel?......any input would be appreciated......i tried to ask about it yesterday, but i posted a link and got in trouble with the moderators.....just looking for opinions

that's the one i was looking at.....i think i'll hold off, 30-06's are fairly easy to come by.....and it seems more like a rifle that should be in a display case since it has ties to a significant period between civilian/military firearms and historic events....(not strapped to the front of my fourwheeler on a deer mission).......i suppose i'll just buy a Tikka
