What can you tell me about 12ga. Wolf 9-pellet buckshot?

Picked up ten boxes for runt, heard generalized good things about it but no specifics. Had anyone tried it? Looks like non-magnum version of S&B...

I was wondering the same thing at the last gunshow. Will it be as good as the S&B??

Dunno. But I am NOT a fan of the S&B buck. The 12-pellet load in the clear hull. In my 870, it patterns much wider than other loads, and leaves nasty leading streaks on my bore. And some of those streaks are almost a full pellet-width, which I interpret to mean those pellets are getting squished pretty badly in their trip down my barrel.

There is obviously no shot cup protecting your barrel or keeping the pellets together.

I like other S&B ammo (9mm, .380, .223) but NOT the 12ga buck. The Wolf has to be better than that.

I like the S&B

I've not seen leading or any other problems....00 buck does spread out pretty fast (Mossberg 20", Cylinder bore)but that's why I used shot! (The S&B definitely kills at both ends, though, nasty recoil) Will try some Wolf, if I see any, as I'm happy with 9mm and 7.62 for cheap plinking ammo....
