what basic remington 700 do i need

I'm planning on starting a new rifle project with a remington 700. I enjoy making modifications and making the rifle my own. One of these changes is i would like to add a detachable magazine. I understand there are different variations of this rifle that do or do not allow a detachable mag kit. Can anyone refer me to the actual variation of the 700 that would allow this, and if you don't mind, exactly what parts i will need to do it?

Also, i would prefer the 30-06 chambered version, does that allow detach mags?

If not that, i will go for the .308 version. I have a Saiganov in .308 already, so i just thought 30-06 would be a good change.

Brownell's sells bottom metal for Remington 700 rifles. THIS LINK shows the bottom metal manufactured by Surgeon rifles. It fits the long action.

Well you need the BDL model 700. H&S makes detach mag for the 30-06 in 5/10rd and it's just a change out and here another site that makes one

If you have a 700 BDL , CDL or classic the changeover kits will work . If you want a kit that a blue collar guy can afford Check out the Kwik Klip . They work great and are under a hundred dollars . If you google Kwik Klip you will find them at Amazon .com , both 4 and 10 round clips are available .
