What are my options?

I have a Stainless steel Taurus Raging Bull that I want to hunt with.

Ive been told that you cant blue S/S, but there is something else out there that's about the same (In color)

If I can get it, I'm looking for a flat black finish.

I can do the Dura-Coat,,but I'm looking for something better.

Any help guys?
 
See if these people can help, their in Liberty Mo.(816)-781-2323. That's the number for Great Guns Gunshop, there is a fella associated with this shop that dips guns, I don't know if it could be done, but call. (nothing to loose) I've seen some of the rifles he has done and they're remarkable to say the least!;)
 
Yes, you can "blue" stainless steel. A few shops do it.

Or you can GunKote the firearm. Much better than DuraCoat, IMO.
 
OR.......... the gun can be temporarily sprayed with a matte/black paint for the hunt/season, then dipped in laq thinner/remover afterwards. :cool:
