What am I looking at here?

This gun looks FUN. I know it's a 10/22 but I was wondering if anyone could help my identify the sights and the stock on it. The stock looks to be cut down.

Don't know about the rest but the stock but is similar to one of mine and it is adjustable. Push the button on the bottom and it slides out.

It's a Charger pistol that someone put an illegal stock on. Lose the butt stock and it would be legal again.

I’m with cornbush and Jim243 on this one.
Just how long is the barrel? Its doesn’t look like 18+ inches and if it’s not your looking at a major fine and possibly worse.

Barrels for rifles only have to be 16". Although this is obviously much shorter. As long as you have the proper paperwork, there's nothing illegal about this rifle.

Back in the mid 90's, there were similar sized conversions that were suppressed and select fire.

As Dr Heckel stated, with the correct paperwork and tax paid, the gun can be legal.

hard to tell for sure but either an aftermarket receiver or integral rail/sight like from nodak on a 10/22 receiver. Unfamiliar with the stock and front sight but basically it is a somewhat tricked out 10/22. check out rimfirecentral and the 10/22 experts their can probably tell you exactly what everything is.

Dr Heckel- The receiver is a NDS-22 and rear sight is a NDS-25 made by Nodak Spud. The NDS-22 is basically a 10/22 clone like KIDD or Volquartsen

The stock is a Choate for sure. If you look closely at the pic and the link below, you can see the markings on the grip are the same...however it has obviously been modified

Im not sure who makes the front sight/barrel....maybe a custom job?

Now this guy knows how to answer a question^ thanks for the info bud. Someone on rimfire central said the front sight may be an MP5 front sight. I'll have to look in to that.
