Western NC: How to find competitions in my area?!

I shoot mostly Cowboy Action Shooting right now but I miss other competitions.

How can I find out about IPSC and IDPA shoots in my area?

The contacts listed on the websites, etc. are usually no longer working or I don't hear back from them.

thought maybe someone here could just tell me where/when and I'd just show up....

The website are the best shot. If you cant get ahold of the clubs then try the area directors.
