West(left)wing lies!

Last night during a indignant tirade the "Genius lawyer type" on the show railed on about how the people that shot at the president's party purchased the handguns legally and until they shot his friend they had committed no crime and that "was wrong"
and that it wasn't about personal freedom or the right to protection. it was about "some people liking guns". OK maybe I'm wrong but isn't it illegal to possess a Firearm in Washington D.C.? isn't conspiracy to commit murder illegal? isn't criminal trespassing or Breaking and Entering illegal? All of these things are presumed to have taken place prior to the actuall act of firing into a crowd. if there was more than one shooter, they must have had a plan. That's a conspiracy. To get the shooters into the building across the street the must have broken in and of course they were in Washington D.C. where even a police officer must turn in his/her weapon after their shift. I guess Martin Sheen's character must be Al Gore since the truth isn't needed as long as you make your point.

I saw a minute or so of one of the first episodes of this show. Typical Hollywood propaganda.

"Unless the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain that build it:
except the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain." (Psalm 127:1)

The Second Amendment rights have not kept pace with the First.

"Freedom is given to the human conditionally, in the assumption of his constant religious responsibility."

Yeah, but the little girl lawyer from the South MORE than got over the point that they were pinko-commie-leftist gungrabbers, I thought.

Even I have stopped tormenting myself by watching this "show." I'm through with it. I went out and bought my beautiful wife a beautiful birthday present instead. It was a lot of fun and when I got home, the show was over and my blood pressure was normal. And when she sees what I got her tomorrow night, we won't need the TV. ;)
Just let it go.

I saw it too, he said what p*sses him off is that they were'nt breaking any laws until they pulled the trigger. How about conspiracy to commit murder? Conspiring against the president???? And all those other laws?? I like the show, but there are some things that I've caught wrong before this too.

The shooting did'nt take place in D.C. so the lawyer was correct. I sure did like the female Republican lawyer's reply that they did'nt really dislike guns, they did'nt like people that like guns. She is going to make an interesting addition to that show.

As good as that comeback sounds to us, it probably holds no water with a liberal leaning audience. Why? As I said before, this show sanctions "feel good" hate. To them, it's okay to hate gun owners because they hate the KKK, Hitler, and those lousy right-wing Christians too! If her comeback was, "You don't like me, shame on you!" then the liberal retorts "Hell yeah, I don't like you!" and the moderate says "Jeez, she's whining... we're supposed to like everybody?!"

I think the character just sounds like an attempt to make the gun-grabbers in the show look even better (who better to defend you than your critics?)... sigh.

I like the show, so I watch it. nuff said.

Even if rosie odonell wasn't the gun grabbing heiffer she is I wouldn't watch her, I didn't like the movies she was in. She's a whinin complainin wart hog of b*tch, and thats why I don't watch her. I don't watch dateline either. I dunno why, I just never have.

OK Mick perhaps the shooting didn't take place in Washington. I'll admit I dont watch the show all that often however conspiracy to commit murder is STILL illegal EVERYWHERE!!!! So is B&E. Those two points alone defeat the Legal Genius' argument.
