Last night during a indignant tirade the "Genius lawyer type" on the show railed on about how the people that shot at the president's party purchased the handguns legally and until they shot his friend they had committed no crime and that "was wrong"
and that it wasn't about personal freedom or the right to protection. it was about "some people liking guns". OK maybe I'm wrong but isn't it illegal to possess a Firearm in Washington D.C.? isn't conspiracy to commit murder illegal? isn't criminal trespassing or Breaking and Entering illegal? All of these things are presumed to have taken place prior to the actuall act of firing into a crowd. if there was more than one shooter, they must have had a plan. That's a conspiracy. To get the shooters into the building across the street the must have broken in and of course they were in Washington D.C. where even a police officer must turn in his/her weapon after their shift. I guess Martin Sheen's character must be Al Gore since the truth isn't needed as long as you make your point.
