West German HS revolvers?

I picked up a holster rig awhile back and needed a single action .22 to fit it. I considered several and finally found an exceptionally well made HS .22 convertible. It fits perfectly and has an interesting external hammer block safety. I'm impressed but haven't heard of the company before. The accompanying paperwork is in German and English.
Hey, I've also bought bargain ammo before and then looked for a gun to shoot it in.:D

Hi, mcshot,

Is that the only marking? When I see "HS", I automatically think of High Standard, but they never made a true single action, though they made double actions tricked up to look like "cowboy" guns.

If the gun was made in Germany, the word "Germany" should be marked on it, along with the German proof marks. It should also have a maker's name somewhere.

Hi Jim,
The pistol is an HS model 21S .22 mag (w .22 cyl.) made in West Germany. I noticed the barrel is marked Sportarms of Miami Fl. I will pursue that angle to see what I can find.
Thanks,
Mac
