This Nov. will decide one way or the other. One way, we have a reprieve.. the other, we have nothing. The taxes put upon our people have already suppressed that of the Boston Tea Party, but we do nothing. Our rights to speak, assemble, and to worship has come under fire. Our second is just a memory. The forth and fifth are just t.v. shows shown every once in awhile. We need to make a choice in the upcoming months. Myself, being a pessimis, only see the ratification of disarmament. Should I go the way of others before me? Should I give up what is most precious to me? I don't know. Maybe I will take the words of those before me, I would rather die a free man, then a slave. We can't continue another four years of this administration. They have set the ball in motion, without much uproar from us, and will continue to do so. Many questions face us, and many have answered. But what will we actually do? With a question, we are almighty, with the will, we second guess. How much do WE enjoy our riches and don't wish to "rock" the boat? How much are we willing to give up before we deem it's too much? How afraid of the government are we? Will we send simply money to others to do our job? Will we just sit on the sidelines, shouting out a cheer when we are prompted? America is not only being attacked by our "elected" leaders but from others as well. The U.N. casts more importance then the Amerinca People. We are being told by our own elected that we will be put in jail for speaking out our opinion. We are being told by other country's that if we don't do as they say, they will attack us. We are being run by small parties because it is "PC". We are being dictated by small groups to live up to what they believe is the right way. We fight each other because we believe what each person is saying. We hate each other because of our differences but refuse to get together on our likeness. People we know and respect are being harressed by those who are supposed to protect. If one says his or her piece, the they are visited by "those" people. You work 40 plus hours a week but recieve not what you earned but what others think you deserve. You work until 65, paying and paying into a program which gives you so little you can't afford to pay rent. When you speak, you find yourself being PC... unable to mention any word that may be disrespectful to blacks, jews, indians, or others beside white. When you worship, you have to agree to what is said, or be thrown from the chruch. If you assemble, if young, you will be harrassed by the police.. and if you're older, then you're harrassed by the police. Curfews for all, freedom for none. God forbide you choose to use the 2nd, for if you have or own a gun, you will be on someones list for harressment. Fight the government via courts, the court of law; You may as well just grow kids out of bean pods, same outcome.... you lose and it's not possible. I'm not anti-goverment, but the more I read, the more I am certain.. this is not what was destined by our foreFathers. USP45usp
 
I don't know. Sometimes I'm encouraged.

1/3 of "the sheep" haven't sent their census form in. That should keep the census takers in business for a while.

Then you hear about how John Ross is being treated. Its true what they say, the First is going to fall right after the Second. That's discouraging.

Hard to say how its all going to pan out. Freedom issues will probably come to a head in the next administration though, regardless of whether its Bushie or Gored.
 
I hope you're right Jack99. I'm getting tired of slinking around in the shadows "waiting" for our time to do battle - whatever that may entail.

The last really educated person produced by the US, the great Albert Jay Nock, on the basis of his study of history, estimated the average life of a civilization from birth to dust to be ~ 250 years; so, around 2025 we should see if he was right in his prediction, made in the 1940s IIRC. So far he seems to be right on the money.
