"Gun Show" is a term I use loosely. More like the "old rusty knife show" or "book and t-shirt show" or "knick knack show" or "four dollar hot dog show". I would estimate less than 25% of the tables actually had a firearm for sale.
I know some of this is to be expected, and I do appreciate the firearms related stuff and I'll admit I stop at a lot of the WWII surplus/memoribilia tables, but it's pretty ridiculous when you overhear the little old ladies selling blown glass complaining that there are so many men at these events and men just don't stop at thier tables......GOOD GRIEF!!
Crossroads of the West needs to think of thier customers first and stick these people in the back or along one wall or something.
I wouldn't be bitching so much, but they want $5 to park and $8 to get in the place now. You have to walk away with a really good deal just to make it worth your time. I for one won't ever pay that again.

"The fact is that the average man's love of liberty is nine-tenths imaginary, exactly like his love of sense, justice and truth. He is not actually happy when free; he is uncomfortable, a bit alarmed, and intolerably lonely. Liberty is not a thing for the great masses of men. It is the exclusive possession of a small and disreputable minority, like knowledge, courage and honor. It takes a special sort of man to understand and enjoy liberty - and he is usually an outlaw in democratic societies." -- H.L. Mencken, February 12, 1923, Baltimore Evening Sun
