Cnn just announced a stray ballot box was
found in a black church in fl. Whoa and I
bet it has 1701 votes for Gore in it.
More sad each hour, America, no morals,
no standards, no education system, we are
failing.
"CNN field reporter just stated that he and his crew have been trying to track down the stories of the newly discovered ballot boxes, but haven't had any success in substantiating those stories.
If there is a box,the box has no chain of custody and will be ruled invalid."
****** Info Changed *****
We are now up to nine "stray" ballot boxes here in the PRF and they intend to count the votes.
Update, it was reported on Orlando 101.1 there were 4 found, I heard this myself. The 9 number came from a girl here i work with, she had heard it on the radio also but evidentely they were saying those were missing, my mistake.

CNN.com was reporting that a single box had been found in a church in a heavily Democratic area. No other news source I could find was reporting the same story. A few minutes ago, the headline on the story changed to "Overlooked Ballot Box Stuffed with Supplies, Not Votes." However, CNN hasn't changed the story itself yet.
OK, after a little research ( I ask the person that heard this on the radio to elaborate ) she told me they were saying there is 9 ballot boxes missing out of Palm Beach County alledgedly, I heard on Orlando 101.1 that there was 4 found, so my story was a little off - my mistake, sorry. I will continue to look for a link.
CNN.com now reports that the ballot box found in the church was full of supplies, not ballots, and election officials say they have accounted for all voted and unvoted ballots. Apparently the supply boxes look like ballot boxes, and were supposed to be left behind last night to be picked up today. That may explain the rumors about finding ballot boxes all over the place.

quote:
Another panic swept the state when television networks reported that several ballot boxes had gone missing in heavily
Democratic Broward County, reports that state and local election supervisors denounced as "totally incorrect."
Broward County Election Supervisor Jane Carroll said the ballot boxes were in the hands of sheriff's deputies, who
were waiting to collect them all before delivering them to central counting stations.
"They were never missing," Carroll said. "They were waiting for the last case and then they were on there way here.
Somehow this story got embellished to where they were missing. They weren't missing. We were never worried about
it, we knew where they were." [/quote]
More then likely, thanks for the link. After considering this situation I have my doubts as to the accuracy of the above. How many sherriff's and where were they all this time ? The polls closed @ 7:00pm last night. I see this was posted @ 7:30am, I wonder when the boxes were turned in. It shouldn't take that long to round them up I wouldn't think. Maybe I'm a little paranoid but there is a whole lot of fishy stuff going on down here right now.
