On behalf of the Staff and Members, I'd like to welcome Tamara to the TFL Staff lineup. It took a bit of arm twisting, but she's agreed to help out here in Handguns and Pistolcraft.

Most TFL'rs know Tamara for her level headed approach to firearms issues. She describes hereself as a "freshly run-over ronin gun-shop employee" and includes among here hobbies "...collapsing bookshelves under the weight of my collection, pondering why my TransAm is so slow and conquering the World Wide Web, one firearms forum at a time."

We also note her affinity for the Glock 29, the world's most diminutive 10MM. This is definitely our kinda gal!

She does a good job at GT and I hope it isn't too much work for her here. Goodluck Tam. BTW are you up and walking yet? I haven't seen a report on your progress lately. But then I haven't made it to Gen. Glocking lately either.

General consensus around the room right now is that my limp is either "not too bad" or "not very noticeable" ;)

I do know that I spent a whole hour drooling on showcases at the local gun emporium and only needed to sit down twice!

(Got stumped trying to decide between a Taurus Titanium .41 Mag snubby, a used *&* .45 ACP Mountain Gun and probably the only used *&* 296 on the planet and wound up missing the exit of the only dude there who could approve my trade-in. Left empty-handed, quelle bummer!)

ok Tamara - i want your honest opinion - how does the TFL "Staff Lounge" compare to the GT "Back Office"?

do they really have a leather couch, a 110 gallon aquarium, and a pony keg in the fridge?

I have heard stories, but never knew who to trust.

perhaps eric might take a cue from rich & update the spartan accomadations for mods on gt?

how much more $$ is rich paying than eric?

enquiring minds want to know!

need anymore mods?
 
Congrats thou Belle dame sans merci. Can't wait to enjoy your sharp wit here as much as I enjoy it at GT.

Chicks with guns? What's this world coming to? Next thing you know they'll want to do other manly things like taking out the trash and watching football.
