Weihrauch HW 40 PCA

I just found this fine forum today. Loads of great stuff.I am not sure if this is the right place for this post but if not I'm sure someone will point me in the right direction. I have a Weihrauch HW 40 PCA with spring coming on the red squirls are getting active and raidin
the bird feeder. Which drives my poor dog completly bat _ _ _ _ When I shoot them with pointed pellets it is not a clean kill I have to go up to them and put 3 or 4 more pellets in there brain pans to let them rest. Is there anything I could do to up the FPS on my HW 40 PCA

I'm not familiar with the HW 40 PCA. Is it an airgun (pistol or rifle)? If so, I'll move this to the General Discussion forum.
