Weight loss/gain and CC.

How does a gain or loss in one's body weight affect how they carry concealed? Is it even an issue? I ask because my weight tends to fluctuate. I hit the gym before summer to try to slim down a bit for the warmer weather and vacationing at the beach, but in the fall and winter I gain weight, because I refuse to deprive myself during the holidays. Common sense would dictate that losing weight would make IWB carry easier and less visible. On the other hand, I've heard it said that the cylinder of a revolver fits nicely into the.......spare tire......of a slightly pudgy fella:D. I guess what I'm asking is has anyone lost or gained enough weight that they had to change their method of carry? Or has the change actually improved their carry method?

I dropped about 40 pounds a couple of years ago (and I'm only 5'7") and everything got better, including the comfort of IWB carry.

My carry of a M24 is in a shoulder holster ,no problem there .However the edge of the holster now goes right across the new Pace Maker ! I'll have to get a foam pad to cover the area !
BTW for rifle shooters there basically is no problem for even high recoiling cartridges as long as the buttstock is on the off side shoulder according to doctors who are actually shooters and hunters .
