I'm currently looking for scope ideas for a Savage 10-FP .308 Tactical rifle that will only be used for long range target shooting (up to ~600 yards). I came across the Weaver V-16 scope (4-16x42). Anyone ever used this particular scope or any weaver scopes that can comment on the quality and durability?
I can't spend more than $250 on a scope, and this one fits right at my budget limit. All info/opinions appreciated. Thanx.
