Does anyone know where I can get an owners manual for this scope or know the procedure to set the elevation and windage back to center or factory settings ?

This is going on a new rifle and I want to start with the setting where they were at the factory.

With out forcing anything, turn the ring one way or the other until it stops. Then counting clicks turn in the oppisite direction until it stops again. Divide the number of clicks by two and then turn back that many clicks and it is centered. Do it again with the other knob.

Any reason why you don't want to just shoot it, see where it hits, and adjust from there? It doesn't really matter where it is, it will be off either way.

If it matters that much though you can turn the dial all the way to one side, then measure the distance to turn all the way to the other side, then put it in the middle... it's just extra steps though.

I just got a new K4, not made in USA, but the manual says nothing about centering it, just mounting, and how to boresight and zero it to your rifle. Amazing scope, btw!

I zeroed in my weaver K-4 this morning and I have to say I forgot how good of a scope it is. Its the older made in the USA one. It is so sharp and crisp with plenty of eye relief. I may just leave it on the rifle and not put the 2-7 back on.
I would like to find a place online to download the manual for it.
