Weatherby series 2 S/A Stock

Hello, after fitting a B&C stock to the Remington 700 with great success we decided to fit one to the Weatherby. Action/trigger guard screws appear to be 3 threads too shy. Does anyone know of a dealer that sells required screws to suit? Thank you for your time.

You could probablt take the orginal screws to a hardware store and find some screws that are just a few threads longer. Should only cost a few dollars too.
 
Hello, unfortunately the machine screws that are sold in town are not blued and the tensile strength is inadequate. I'd actually like to replace the original ones with longer screws that have similar properties such as either torx or allen type heads, blued finish and a reasonable strength. But there you go, that's just me being particular about my gear. Thanks for your time though and stay safe.
