Weatherby SA-08??

Just got back from my local Walmart and saw that they had a Weatherby SA-08 12 guage, 28" barrel for $435. It looks like a pretty nice gun.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it worth it?

For that price, all im concerned with is its reliability. My intended use is skeet and very infrequent bird hunting. Ultimately, it will not get used very much at all, but when it does get used, I want it to function properly.

Any thoughts on this gun???

Yikes!

The Weatherby SA-08 is a semi-auto. it is NOT an 870 Clone. The NEF Pardner pump is an 870 "clone". I have one and it's as solid as an M1A1 Abrams
:D
The Weather PA-08 Upland is a turkish made pump though. It's not quite an 870 clone either. Most forums are giving the Weatherby SA-08 good marks. It is reportedly similar to the older Beretta 390.

I picked up a SA-08 last year, but have only put 250 shells through it shooting sporting clays. So far, absolutely no problems, and very happy with its reliability, balance, and accuracy.
