Worked a couple over at Dicks Sporting Goods. Solid feel, chrome bolt, smooth workings and not a loose rattler. The Wood version is pretty, but the lacquer-like finish is cheap and will show scratches-dings real easy.
David Petznal of "gun nuts" fame picked the PA-08 Synthetic as a durable "bottom of the boat" waterfowl gun equal to the Rem 870 and Mossberg 500. That's a decent endorsement.
