Weatherby MKX

I have a friend that bought a Weatherby MKX in 7mm-08 at a gun show. When he loads up the magazine and tries to chamber a round , the cartridges on the left side of the double stack start turning side ways almost imediatley and won't chamber of course. Any ideas on who might help clear this up. The local Weatherby rep has a bad reputation so we're scared to take it to him.

Contact Weatherby directly

I would contact the Weatherby folks directly and see if they have someone that can take care of it for you. It most likely can be fixed rather easily, but without actually seeing the gun it could be anything from the wrong follower being use in the gun to a bad magazine spring to bad feed rails on the gun. Best of luck with it though.
