Does anyone have one of these with the synthetic stock
I held one and it seemed like a good gun. The receiver said made in Japan, I thought these were made in the USA??
Any good for 300 yards +??

A close friend of mine swears by his. It seems to shoot as accurately, if not more so, than most of the stock rifles my friends have. A friend of ours who happens to be a particularly gifted shot produced mighty small groups at 100 yards with it once. Whether or not any of this translates into long range accuracy I can only guess at...
 
MB, I have one in 7MM WHBY Mag. It holds MOA with it's favorite load pushing a Nosler 140 gr. partition. They do very well for a light barreled rifle.
