Wear on a makarov slide?

While cleaning my mak tonight I noticed what looked like some sort of wear on the slide. Holding the slide upside down, with the barrel end facing towards me, I saw a notch at the very back of the inside of the slide, near the top of the hammer slot. It was on both sides of the hammer slot, and was slightly irregular. It is shallow, but very noticable. Is this a problem in need of a solution? Any thoughts? My gun is stock unissued military bulgarian, with probably around 500 rounds through it, with no significan problems.

From your photo and my memory, I don't believe any moving parts can make contact in that area. So I bet it's just rough machining from the factory, and not wear.
